The portal can be quite glitchy so, as long as you're confident that you submitted those details when you applied, I wouldn't worry. Probably some issue with some software update on their end. If details really are missing, hopefully they'll be reaching out to you.

If you aren't sure if you submitted correctly, I'd try to give the info and docs again via webform, so the officer handling the application can link it into the portal.
Just got both new cards after 30 days of wait time exactly as noted in the website!

Hello, once submitted for renewal on the PR portal, the application shows submitted and is now greyed out. Haven't received any email confirmation or any application number. How can I track the status or is that normal?

You should get a separate email later - when you get AOR - that will have instructions on how to set up a tracker. (Sadly, AOR can take a bit of time - I haven't done a renewal but for a citizenship app AOR was like 40 days...)

This is normal. The portal is mainly for helping you submit the app - and making sure you've checked all boxes, submitted all supporting docs, etc. So once the app is submitted successfully, it's essentially served it's purpose. The tracker that comes after AOR is where you'll receive most updates going forward.

I submitted app in mid Dec. I saw couple of threads where ppl mentioned they directly received PR card in the mail though.

Yes, including this one,

So I guess what happens is that - even though you're suppose to get an email with the tracker set up info first, the receipt of the PR cards (30 days) happens faster than they can send out the email for the tracker!

Unless there's something I'm missing, your situation sounds completely normal and it seems like there's not much to do aside from sit back and check the mail every once in a while.
