US Visitor Visa as a Protected Person in Canada
I applied and the officer was really rude and disrespectful with me. Said I can go to USA and remain there. Not good idea I think to apply while Trump is president. The new politics are totally anti immigrant. But you can certainly try. Good luck.- Flowercita

I think they split main applicant from dependants. For my dependants before showed 40 months. Now 8 nonths and you can select the month you applied. That's new.- Flowercita

What I observed in this forum is they stopped processing on april 2023. Nobody who applied after that date had news. So why the numbers are decreasing. It is strange. I have hope but it will be good they explain how they will be processing under this one-time initiative.- Flowercita

Yesterday I heard an immigration advisor talking in a program. And spoke about the new law and the people who applied for refugee after one year arriving to Canada. Their scheduled hearings were cancelled. Now they depend on that law. Can ask PR for H&C or PRA but not asylum. I think that is...- Flowercita

Eligibility is not good reference. Can take one year or two. Depend on when security is passed. When that is passed the process is almost done.- Flowercita
