Either they received their pr through a one-time initiative program, since the number is close to 55,000 per year, or they canceled their application through C12, but I think C12 has not passed yet.

C12 is still in process and there is no relation between c12 and protected person its all about refugee claiment

I don’t think so, i wan on 17.000 and now it’s 11.000. Even if they proceed 6.000 applications front of me where is remaining 44.000 applications? Additionally nobody got pr between November and Jan. This numbers are not reflecting anything.

Honestly nobody knows. We just can wait . Nobody really knows how they work. Just pray that they speed up the process.

There is a section allow mass cancellation for any kind ofimmigration visa, and there was a big debate about it. Any way, it hasn’t passed yet.

Hi everyone, this will be my final update here.

This has been my timeline:
Application: March 9, 2023
P1: September 23, 2025
P2: October 7, 2025
ECOPR: November 10, 2025
PR Card: January 15, 2026

It’s been a long wait and I hope everyone waiting receives good news soon.

You are speaking about the people in front of you in the line. The total inventory was 144000 in December , and it is become only 95000. IRCC can not grant 50000 in a single months, and as you mentioned mentioned nobody get their pr in December. This big number can’t be just disappeared.

Yesterday I heard an immigration advisor talking in a program. And spoke about the new law and the people who applied for refugee after one year arriving to Canada. Their scheduled hearings were cancelled. Now they depend on that law. Can ask PR for H&C or PRA but not asylum. I think that is the difference. Why now the number reduce dramatically. It is my opinion based on what I hear. Maybe im wrong but I wanted to share. Maybe somebody knows more about it.

I am the principal applicant and applied for my spouse and child who are here with me at the same time. I received my ecopr with their names excluded on the document. I’m not sure if they will receive their own ecopr or if it was an error. I will have to call IRCC.how did you go about the application of your family members?
