    If at least one parent has returned to Canada apply for sponsorship as soon as possible. Would personally suggest waiting for AOR from the sponsorship application and include that proof in the TRV application. I assume both parents are compliant with their RO.

    You can attempt to visit Canada in January but what you are suggesting is not visiting Canada. You have much stronger ties to Canada versus to your home country. If you are able to enter Canada and you are able to visit for 6 months you can change your address to Canada.
