Got this update on the PA side of ECA, does anyone know what it means with regard to the application processing phase

We started processing 'first-name last-name' application on April 5, 2019.

PS: Application was moved to LVO last week though

thanx for the ones who replied to me before about the relation ship and sponsor approval , its more clear now .

Unfortunately our application was returned on 4 April and it was received on 25 Feb .They said one of the documents we did an electronic signature just typed my name and apparently they wanted a real signature so it was returned and there is new application forms so now i am updating them and will sign then send to my husband then he will sign and apply again
so now we will be April applicants hope things go smooth and wish for u all the best

Same here, app returned and rejected. I made the same signature mistake, but I made two more mistakes. I am not sure about our re-application, too many questions and insecurity. Very afraid I will only make more mistakes.

You need to use updated forms when re-applying, good luck!!

That is AOR2. It's confirmation from your local VO that they have received it.

Good morning everyone!

I was finally able to check application status on ecas yesterday using sponsor info & receipt #. We also got our AOR and Biometrics request last night. PA is my husband in Jamaica; I think I saw a few other ppl with spouses there earlier in the thread. Hoping we all get through this process quickly!!

AOR April 2

BR April 2

I got my sponsor approval saturday, hoping to get bio or medical soon. My husband is in Jamaica I am the sponsor in Canada

Hello everyone.

This is a thread for all the applications being submitted in February. Please add your timeline when you come in:
PA (primary applicant) Country
AOR1: Acknowledgment of Receipt (email saying they have your app) (generally first sent to sponsor and takes 3-4 months)
MR: Medical Request
SA:Sponsorship Approval
Medical passed
MIDI - CSQ: Ministry of Immigration, Diversity, and Inclusion - The Quebec Selection Certificate/certificat de sélection du Québec. (Quebec Only)
CSQ received (Quebec Only)
CSQ AOR (Quebec Only)
AOR2: Acknowledgment of Receipt at VO (Visa office of PA)
CSQ approval (Quebec Only)
BGC: Background check in Process
DM: Decision made
PPR: Passport Request
COPR ISSUED: Confirmation of Permanent Residence (document you recieve when you become a PR)
LANDED: Well you can imagine what this means

Wouldn't you get your sponsorship approval before meducal

Hi guys.. Does anyone know how long will it take the cic to correct a name spelling error?(cic mistake) we cant do any medicals and biometrics yet because of this... or can we do medicals and biometrics while they are fixing this???anybody has experience? -Feb25 applicant, AOR1, MR,BR,SA received

February 13 applicant, recieved medical request on March 5th.

Does this mean all my paperwork was completed correctly or there is still a chance cic might come back to me for missing signatures etc?

Edit: Scrap that, you're already there... Did you add your own info to April too or has someone else done that?

Check your sponsors emails, AOR is most probably in there, make sure you check the spam folder too.

I added my own to Feb, someone must of did April. I did get my aor already March 28 and on april6 got sponsor approval. Waiting for bio or med
