I received a mail from CPCO-FinalRequest / CTDO-DemandeFinale (CIC) <IRCC.CPCO-FinalRequest-CTDO-DemandeFinale.IRCC@cic.gc.ca> with subject as Ready for Visa / Prêt pour Visa. It looks to be a PPR . I just want to confirm whether it is the same?
Actually pleasantly surprised. Although the status is still - We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Yes, signed them for both ways .
I used FedEx ship managed advanced option. Otherwise, you are forced to pay for Express option. In my case, no point expediting it.
Also, you have to use your account to pay in order for the return label to be generated. Some others have had luck at their local UPS store. Mine wouldn't generate it.

A few of additional queries:
The ship manager advanced requires the following details:
1. Did you select signature required at delivery (I am not sure if this is the best option , if nobody is available at CIC to sign , when fedex delivers)
2. Customs documents - terms of Sale: what option do I select for terms of sale
3. Customs documents - which invoice is to be selected (Commercial or Pro Forma Invoice)

I usually don't select the signature required option at places where I can't reach actual people. So, didn't select in this case.

I selected Commercial Non-sale option since I had trouble with selection non commerical option. Don't remember rightly but basing it off the shipping label PDFs I have.

Also, didn't have to select the type of customs form as far as I can recall.

Eligibility recommended pass is actually is good sign. Just that, in most cases it remains like that for an eternity before an Officer Validate and put pass. After pass, security and criminality should normally start.
Mine is eligibility recommended pass since April 11, since then, no further action on the file

Hey Chris,
Did you try calling them, I have similar timelines as yours Monday I called one agent told me that my Application is still under review. Yesterday I called again and another agent told me that my app is approved and that it was transferred to local visa office so they can send me the final mail.
Just call I am sure you'll hear good news

Just Checked my application status and they are processing my background check... I guess that is IP2?
