Passed medicals in DEC-2017. How much time does it normally take to get PPR after medicals?

My time line as follows:

JAN-2016: Decision taken strongly to migrate to Canada

JUN-2016: IELTS done

DEC-2016: Gathered all necessary documents (big deal, especially with Indian government offices), all university transcripts (India and UK) and WES assessment done.

JAN-2017: EE profile created in CIC and job bank (396 CRS)

MAR-2017: Profile created in SINP

MAY-2017: Successfully submitted application for PNP nomination

Early JUL-2017: Request from SINP case officer to submit additional documents

Early AUG-2017: Requested documents submitted

End of AUG-2017: SINP nomination confirmed (additional 600 points)

SEP-2017: ITA received

OCT-2017: PCC from Indian passport office and also from UK (online application) and attended for medical examination (spouse and myself)

NOV-2017: Application filed for PR

DEC-2017: update in CIC profile: passed medical exams

JAN-2018: letter from CIC: how to find jobs in Canada (background check: not applicable, application under review for eligibility, no interview and additional docs or biometric)

Now: waiting for PPR, to pay RPRF and obtain COPR.

Question: Any one has any idea, how much time does it normally takes to receive PPR request after passing medicals?

Thank you in advance for your kind answers.

Update 08-FEB-2017: good news is that, I have received RPRF request just now. Due date to pay is till 09-MAR-2018.
I'll say this was really quick!! Congrats and maybe it's another month before PPR and then you can celebrate.

Hello Deepak, I have done intense research before I start this challenge. I have consulted many consultancies (nearly 9) in Bangalore and Hyderabad. All consultancies tried to beat around the bush without telling the problematic situations or things that may stop your entire process. So, after listening to all of them, I have started to assess the risks and started asking pin pointed questions back. 8 of them failed to convince me, but one agency was at least tried to give their best answers disclosing the problems in it. So, I started the process with them. In fact, they are also not completely super people. but they know 5W (what, where, when, whom and how), a bit better than me.

In fact, they calculated my CRS incrrectly with high human capital values and IELTS scores and experience related points which gave me around 442 points. But, I have gone through the entire calculation and understood how consultancies making us fool. when I questions, and making changes my CRS came down to 396, which is too less to get ITA under federal process. they asked me to write IELTS again, but I know my standard, I cannot get more than 7. So, I searched for PNP level and each province requirements. SK is one of promising provinces requiring people of my discipline. So, I took risk and demanded my agency to change my NOC as per my work experience, not based on my education qualification. They said, if once changed then its final and we cannot change all time. I took risk and changed it. I have missed to submit application to SINP when it was opened first time during my process, because it normally opens for few hours and once 500 applications submitted it gets closed automatically. Then, every day, at least 4 times in a day, I used to check their SINP portal, if they are opened for PNP nominations under express entry. One day, I saw it was opened and asked my agency to help me to submit application. So, luckily I have submitted.

All I want to say is, I took some expertise help in my processing, but it was just for assistance because I don't know what are documentations needed and how to submit them, but ultimately, I would say that I have done everything on my own. Keep one thing in your mind, agencies work for your money, not for you. Once they got money, they may not show full interest. Thats why they ask you to pay at least 50-75 % in advance. Trust me, it is only you who can fulfill your dreams, so work hard to do research, to know requirements. In my case, I have hired a consultancy to to guide me not to do process on behalf of me. Hope you understand the difference. Feel free to ask any other queries, if any.

Thank you Varun. It has been a lot of effort. sleepless nights while travelling to obtain certificates, documents from university, government offices, and doing research on internet. At last, I am well on track.

More information regarding costs. I would like to share my experience with the associated costs with this process as below:

All values mentioned in Indian rupees.

Initial evaluation: 1300

Agency advice fee: 93000

IELTS: 24200 (12100X2 spouse and myself)

Indian university transcripts for WES assessment (challan1500X2+postal 1300X2+staff satisfaction 4000): 9600

UK university transcripts for WES assessment: TOTAL FREE. Just an online mail to academic administrator, she has sent to WES office directly for no extra cost to me.

WES ECA fee: 22600 (226 CAD per headX2)

Date of birth certificates (we don’t have them before) and all other notarizations including government office staff satisfaction: 21000 (10500X2)

SINP PNP application cost: 15300 (300 CAD per application)

Medical examinations at Elbit Bangalore (cheaper and better than Fortis): 7500 (on the phone they said it'd be Rs.5500... but at the venue was only charged Rs.1300 + Rs.2250 + Rs.200)

PCC from Indian Passport Seva Kendra: 1000 (500X2)

PCC from UK: 9330 (45 GBP per head ordinary service without tracking facility, but we did not receive our certificates for 8 weeks. So, I have applied again with tracking facility which costed another 8 GBP per person).

PR application fee: 56100 (550 CAD X2)

RPRF fee: 49500 (490 CADX2)

Bank balance maintenance for 2 people (of course, not a cost but you must have this much amount with you for initial settlement in Canada): 850000

Others (travel+ postal+ phone calls): 15000

Total till today 325430 has been spent + 850000 constant saving bank maintenance.

Yes dude. You are correct. I know. Its huge. But, doing everything by myself.. I cannot do. because need to have good work and life balance. so, I just took agency people knowledge and advise on my proceedings... of course, I took choice to pay the price. Anyways, I am right on track :)
