I got pre arrival on Jan 14 and still don’t receive Eligibility letter. Is this normal?

Yes, this is completely normal, many applicants wait a few weeks or 1–3 months or longer or some people even receive COPR without ever getting a separate “eligibility passed” message in their GCKey account.

We are actually on the same timeline. Applied July 2024, biometric October 2024. Additional information was requested for my spouse but since then I haven’t heard anything yet.

Just a small correction
I believe there is only one portal for principal applicant and dependents
So All is good now waiting for portal 2

The email is from an official @cic.gc.ca
domain
It does not ask for fees or payment at this stage
The formatting looks official and matches past IRCC emails

If your reply confirming.
IRCC sends a second email (often called “Portal 2”) with login details for the PR Confirmation Portal.
