How did you get the instruction? E-mail or thru regular mail?

I heard that applications that needs to be fast-tracked, like the typhoon Haiyan victims, are being sent to HK for processing. Apparently they have a more efficient system there.

Good News for all April 2011 Applicants - I got a mail from CIC and when I checked my E-CAS status, it was changed to Decision Made. Below is my timeline: Received Application - April 11, 2011 Started Processing - April 28, 2011

Judging from the posts I have been reading, the Immigration is still working on November - December 2010 applicants. So It'll probably be a couple of months more before they start looking at the 2011 applicants. Patience...more of it I guess ;D. Apparently processing time went up to 38 months...

So its okay for her to work then? We are on the same boat here. My daughter will be done with school soon and she is pretty pumped up to work right after. My worry is that it might be a ground for refusal. Here's a thought - she might be working but if she remains substantially dependent on me...
