Last week, was our 3-hour virtual hearing and at the end, the member asked my lawyer for a written submission to be submitted no later than 2 weeks and his decision will be taken after receiving the written submission. Is that something bad? Any opinions or similar cases?

Did u get the decision

Yes. Just waiting to receive my NOD by mail. I don't know the chances to get a positive response , but I have no other option

you should take all the paths including Judicial Review, Federal Review H&C, etc in the meantime gather all the evidence

For "best interest of a child", 1 year wait time does not apply
We are confused, because we have children and one is canadian, my lawyer says it better to start with the appeal although the rejection was due to credibility.
