@Holy Cow
Yes, they have because I filed for Mandamus. After filing IRCC reached out to my lawyer and told them they are working on my profile.
After receiving PR portal credentials and submitting the address, photo on Jan 6th, I am still waiting for my eCoPR. It's just a waiting game at each stage
@Doyen_Toronto Did you end up withdrawing your Mandamus or they will do it after you receive your COPR?

I saw a Bunch of pprs for fsw outlands from all months sep, Oct , Nov etc in other forums. And some of them submitted remedicals this Jan 2022. It’s so fast a processing with VOs outside Canada for PPR I guess. Where as most of us are stuck here in Ottawa VO after medicals passed second time or after many adrs. Really don’t understand this delay, seriously.

They already "said" that they won't, and also, they can't, not anymore, or not without a huge process inside the government:

Is it possible? Yes. But very unlikely.
Thanks for sharing this video. So insightful.

So for example, if your application is older than a year, you can ask for a Canadian police certificate beforehand and update your schedule A form and send them to IRCC before they ask you, so you will show them you’re still interested and skip the ADR step.

I wish I knew that before…

Well… You’ve seen it once now. It happened to me just 2 weeks ago.

If you have been in Canada for over 6 months since you submitted your application, you may have to provide a Certified Criminal Record Check from RCMP Ottawa before they approve your PR.

Did you provide an RCMP certificate already to them and it is a second time they ask for it?

Hey guys, just thought of posting here my application status which hasnt changed since last Sept.
My medicals expired and were taken off of my account and havent been updated or extended. Completely clueless what to do next, I am not sure if I want to do anything or put in any efforts at this point…
AOR - Sept 2020, FSW Inland.

Anybody in the same situation????

No I did not. It was not required when I submitted my application since I had just arrived from my country of origine.

My point is, it’s good to know that I could have provided IRCC with that certificate in an anticipated manner rather than waiting for an ADR.

It could have saved a few weeks or months in the process.

But most of us are assuming once the application is submitted, there is nothing you can do aside from waiting.

What is said in the video is that we should update our application in a proactive manner to speed up the process. Especially when the application is older than a year.

Same here with AOR- Oct.2020 with VO: Ottawa. My medicals
Were expired last Oct and no update after that. Clueless on what to do next except waiting. Your visa office is also the same?
