Did the math; study ensures you get your ITA in 4+ years. Call it a safe side sure, but very inefficient... Many better ways to immigrate if one has that much money and 4+ years of time. Anyway bros best of luck
bruv, study ensures leaving my shit country in under a year, and a guaranteed pathway to residency, independent of shackles of an employer. It's not as much about making it to Canada as a permanent resident, it's more about being able to leave my country with a guaranteed pathway to residency.

It's a 1 year degree with a 4 month internship, meaning 4 months of work exp plus 16 month PGWP after (since the internship actually falls under the study period and isn't deducted from the PGWP duration), so I"m not sure where this idea of 4 years without making money comes from. I know it's not ideal or efficient, but it's still the quickest path out of my country, in an environment I'm more likely to be familiar with, and close to my network. These things matter. Not everything is about how much money you can make.

PS. I didn't mean to lash out at you. It's just frustrating when post AOR people suddenly start leading the charge on dissuading people from going to Canada without understanding people's reasoning behind it. We already have morons like DKAB and navinball-less to feed us that nonsense. There are very specific reasons that my mind is set on Canada, because in the long run, it will be the best scenario for me personally, by a long margin. Although I never considered the UK, I have looked at EU, and Germany is pretty much the only option for me there. And that's 5 years to residency under the best of circumstances, all the while being tied to an employer with no bargaining power. I lived that life in the US, and I lost everything. I don't want to repeat that.

On a scale of 1-10 how sure are you that streamlining is for all categories.
your suggestion may help someone who'll be reading our thread

EB2-NIW in the US (if you are an ABD or have a PhD. Might be a long wait for residents of certain countries)
Australia subclass-189 (No employment required. Points based. Processing speed may depend on the number of points)

Hi guys !

As of this week, Minister Sean Fraser will take charge, and as expected, most of the comments are about FSW draws and backlogs.

Him after seeing the backlog:

Hpw can you be ao sure there's not going to be an FSW draw in the future. What if you end up investing money and soon as you land in Canada, they do an FSW draw. How would you feel then?

My favorite reply from the tweet linked above:

"Please process TR2PR applications in Order! Please first come first served! Thanks, There are fews appliances submitting before 70 minutes got No AOR while others submitting after 120 minutes got PR. Thank you, Sean. "

Wow even kitchen appliances getting PR before FSW.

I never said there wouldn't be an FSW draw. I said I'm also trying to apply for a study permit in case there isn't one. If I end up in Canada and they have an FSW draw after that, it would be completely irrelevant. I would have made a decision and moved there on a study permit. That they had an FSW draw after makes zero difference to my life.

Appliances need PR first to be imported into Canada.

It does bro. You apply under FSW, get your PR in 8 months and say fuck off to that useless school and degree program, get yourself a nice job and stop living in poverty (or spending lots from your own pocket).

By the way, if you're genuinely concerned about your field and prospects in Canada, you could actually try to get a different degree from a Canadian school. This would fully justify going back to school and you wouldn't have wasted time and money. Ever thought about it? (not sure how you would explain this in your statement of purpose in your study permit app though)

Adding that to my list of goals 1) learn French 2) become a kitchen appliance.

All set!

You would be taking loans which is never ideal. It's not like you don't qualify for fsw. If they do a draw right now, you would he the first one to get an ITA. Think lomg term dude. You don't wanna be indebted in huge loans unnecessarily. But it's your life and your decision after all.
