So happy for those of you getting your PR. That's amazing! I finally got our application linked, so thanks for all the suggestions! My wife had her medical exam already but we have to wait until November 12th to get her x rays. We sent a message letting the ircc know it would be more than a month. It's just so busy around here, I guess. Do they wait to submit the medical until the x rays come in? I guess that makes sense.

We are looking forward to news that things are moving along for us as well. ;)

Hi everyone
Can anyone tell me how the last process works for inland spousal sponsorship works. For the PR approval, do you have to mail the original passport to IRCC to stamp PR visa on it if you're inland applicant? After the eligibility review, what are the following steps and how is it communicated? Thanks so much.

You will be invited to a PR portal, which is a website through an email. IRCC will create your account and share credentials with you. COPR will be provided on that website. You can read our detailed timeline in signature, to understand steps.

Yesterday , Sat., i got my pre arrive letter. I didn't expect any news from IRCC during a weekend.
Lets see how long it will take for next step.

I am not sure that anyone can answer y that question. All cases are different and some ppl get in a few days some in a few months. In the background of the process, lots of things are happening like security checks, criminal checks, identity checks..... agency like CRMP, security agencies etc are involved and lots of factors can influence how fast the process will be done. All this info I got on the internet and different forums so they are not 100% reliable and pls take them with care. ( i am not an expert or legal advisor just sharing hours of browsing different forums and websites).

Just got a "ghost update" on the IRCC portal. for all of y who do not know what is ghost update here is explenation

"Ghost Update - When you log in, the application says it's been "updated" but none of the fields have changed. Once you logout and log back in, the application returns to being "submitted". Ghost updates are not announced by email and a candidate must check their profile daily to not miss them"

Damn, it would've been so funny if you got the “ghost update” during Halloween and not the next day

Thank you for your response, i know it depends on case to case bases but i was asking for an estimation only. BTW, i just got a request to submit some additional documents today and its a positive sign that someone is looking at file finally.
