hi all,
my eCOPR is Feb 19th. Photos uploaded in January.
July 23 - first GU
since then I am getting different information every time I call from your card is in que for printing to your card is been pulled from printer due to mistake in picture. So one agent says everything is in perfect order you should get it in 7-10 days, 2 months after another says oh your card is pulled from printer due to unknown reason. third says card is pulled but picture is not mistaken claiming that he doesn’t know why is pulled. Forth says i should not worry cause due to pandemic I should not be worried with 8 month waiting time in printing a card. Fifth says that he doesn’t really know what happened with my card and that I should be patient . Seventh refuse any info to provide claiming that all profiles that are not urgent are not accessible. Eights says file is a a mess after accesing it and try to find an error.
So what should I do?
Called MP alredy.
What is my next stop seeking for assistance?

Hello everyone,

I had received my E-CoPR on 12th June and had uploaded the photo on the PR portal along with providing the mailing address. It is my first card and I still have not received it nor has the status changed on the PR portal. It still says 'in review with IRCC' under the photograph. section The declaration has already been approved long ago. It is past the current processing time now and I am starting to get worried. It should not be that complicated for a first card, should it? I have tried linking it to my IRCC account, but despite trying almost all the combinations of spellings for the Place of Birth and the Last name under 'Search with UCI and Last Name', I am unable to find and link it! They would not give any information through phone calls or webforms saying they are too busy with 'the situation in Afghanistan'. I need to travel in late November and it is frustrating to see their incompetence. Is there anything I can do here? Thank you!
Mine is 9th July and I have not received any updates until now

Hi, Sorry about your situation. I have been browsing other forums and found this process. Its a solemn declaration package. Please see link below.
Solemn Declaration Concerning a Lost, Stolen, Destroyed or Never-Received Permanent Resident Card - Canada.ca
I encourage you to find out more on this since it appears your pr card application is past 6weeks more than normal processing time. Please check processing times on the website. Further you could try emailing the immigration ministers office and find out if they can help.
Once again, its crazy to be waiting for a card for 8 months. Hope this helps.
This is a personal opinion, not legal advice.

Thats only for people whose card was mailed out not for people who never received it in the first place.

But the processing time is 4 months so calling may help since it's been more than 4 months

I’m a Spousal class applicant (Outland but living in Canada) I got eCOPR April 12, mailed PR photos end of May. Got a GU last week. I checked GCkey and saw my PR card was approved and mailed today!

Same here. But ive been waiting for 4 months now. Got Ecopr in July 14th and Photo still not approved yet. Not able to link my PR card application to GIC as im getting the same error with every combination just like you. Contacting them is like speaking to a brick wall and hoping for a response. I also do have some travel plans in December and my hope that ill get it before december is slowly dimnishing and its frsutrating me every single day. How can a government agency of this huge magnitude can be this unresponsive with the final document that a person needs to complete the process. Also a note that people who have recieved Ecopr after me have all recieved their PR Cards.

Hey I’m new to the forum, I have received my copr in May and sent my pictures for pr card in end of May, I tried to link my application to cic account.
I wanted to confirm we had to choose pr card application? And I didn’t have any application number so I called ircc they gave me this number that starts with ‘R’ and I used it to open my application.along with my pr application uci number. Did I do correct?
Just wanted to ask where do you all see pictures received and all info for me it says application is in process and all the basic info no interview needed, we will ask if documents needed all generic stuff.
can someone please tell me if I’m at right place and doing everything correctly.

thanks a lot
I could not link as well. It does not find my application. Mine is the first card as well. I do not have this application number starting with R.

Precisely! And I do understand the workload with the situation in Afghanistan and whatever COVID has changed for us all, but if that is the case, then why are you taking more applications than you can handle? Why is there not enough staff? There are qualified people who can do this job. Why are the application for initial card where there are no counting of days present in Canada not being processed FIFO? Ours is not an unfair request, to be honest.

I just called IRCC 1-888-242-2100 and they told me I cannot link the permanent card application for my first card at the GCKey account. I thought it was weird because I see here a lot of comments that people could link their PR card after the portal submission to the GCkey account. Any tips on this or just the pr portal is the source to see the pr card progress? Also she told me that before 127 days (current processing times) there is nothing she can do considering it is only 2 months passed since my e-COPR was approved.

Hi everyone,

My situation is: one of my family members received the card, but myself and other dependents didn't. I cannot link the application for myself and the dependents on my cic account, the only one that worked was for the dependent whose card has arrived...

To make it worse, I just received an email from IRCC saying the PR process is complete and my information will be removed from the PR portal in 30 days.

I don't know what to do. I tried calling but couldn't speak to an agent.

Any ideas? sending a webform could help? Do they actually give a proper answer via webform?

thank you,
