I share with you my experience.

1. When did you receive an email asking for information? AUGUST 24
2. When did you receive your log-in details for the portal? AUGUST 27
3. When did you declare your presence in Canada, updated the address, and uploaded a picture on the portal?AUG 27

6. When did you receive your PR card in the mail?WAITING

I creat my own account with the same email address that I send to the government.

I called the government yesterday and the woman said: if you don't receive anything about the credential after one week, send an email address below and ask them if they received your previous email or no. My friend called them after 3 weeks and they said we didn't receive anything.

so if after one week you didn't receive your credentials, call them and send an email with all information (Name, UIC, etc.)

You can create your account by yourself if you will use the same email address maybe it can speed up the process

Yesterday, I sent an email to IRCC.ClientPortal-PortailClient.IRCC@cic.gc.ca asking if my PR is validated and if they received my information, and this morning, the section "Permanent Residence Confirmation" is added in my account.

Thanks….as I got my portal confirmation on 21 Aug…credentials on Aug 22 but my dependents are missing…got another email on Aug 23 asking again for my information….and since then …nothing new ….only myself on the portal with no dependents….

I received portal confirmation E-mail last week. Unfortunately, My family is in India and planning to come on SEP 13th (Holding valid TRV). Can i wait till SEP13th to respond to the E-mail on our whereabouts?

Will IRCC hold my application until i respond? I'm not seeing any timeline to respond to the E-mail.

Note : Im worried that i have not responded to the E-mail yet and they may take some action on my file

If there is no timeline in either the PDF or email you should be fine. It's not a guarantee thou.
You only option is to wait for your family, reply to the email, and hope they will create the account.

My photo has been rejected twice now. I have uploaded it 3rd time and I hope it goes through. I got second refusal within 2 days. The reason they gave for second one was vague (face too big/too small). At least tell if its big or small. Fingers crossed for the third one. It's getting frustrating getting stuck on the last step.

I suggest you to wait and respond once you are here. That should be ok as i did same thing. i responded to it after 45 days...you should be on compare to 45 days my application. i got eCOPR after 15days of reply
