I think you are being held because of outland dependents. Borders are still closed so outlanders still cant come in (with some exceptions ofcourse).

My friend applied for CEC outland, her GCMS from 10 months ago shows everything is passed but they wont issue her a COPR yet because outland.

Once borders reopen completely, you should get your ecopr and PR cards and you will be able bring in the outland dependents.

I think due to election and also due to processing afghan refugee files there will be more delays in file processing. I have hopes now after September 20 nothing before that. In case if something shows up earlier it would be miracle.

Hey everyone quick question,

While filling out my EE CEC application I answered yes to the question that says 'Do you have a valid job offer.' At the time I thought this was asking if I have a job offer and if I was working which I was (and still am)

But I did not claim any points for LMIA because I am working on an open post grad work permit and my employer has not done any LMIA for my role.

My question, if I leave my job or get laid off will this impact my CEC application? @legalfalcon and others your input much appreciated!

Your crs will show all the points that are accounted for. Now to answer your question, if points were added for job offer, then that points will be deducted and CRS score is recalculated. Now if your new CRS score is greater than the CRS score cut off on the day you were invited, the. You are good. But if your CRS score is same as cut off score then am not sure if they will consider date you created profile to check tiebreaker date. But if your score falls below cutoff score , then application will be rejected.
Hope it helps

Thank you for your detailed reply.

I just went over all the EE CEC criterias that I was awarded points or that I claimed points for and it appears that I only got 40 points for 1 year Canadian work experience. So if I am reading this and your reply correctly, then there should be no deductions in points for leaving my job correct?

Here is a screenshot of the IRCC letter summarizing all the points that I was awarded when i got the ITA.

Under what category would would the LMIA/job offer points show up?
