hi All. Did anyone recently (after july 5) landed to Ontario as an immigrant? Did you need to quarantine in hotel or home if you are fully vaccinated? Please advise.

If fully vaccinated, you do not need the hotel quarantine or the 14 days quarantine but will be tested on arrival at the airport. Mandatory hotel quarantine is set to end August 9. But I guess for unvaccinated, the 14 day quarantine will still be in place.

My husband dropped his passport off at VFS (what a joke that place is) last Friday. It took 2 weeks for him to get in for that appointment. The passport arrived at the IRCC office today. I imagine it will take 7-10 days to be sent back to him. We've booked tickets for September 8, avoiding the hotel and expensive August tickets!
