my father is retired and settled in India and my mother and brother are in the Gulf and as my brother is working there I would definitely return to my home country to take care and be there for my parents back in home country as it is my responsibility to do so and finally settle down with a marital alliance and take care of the family business and assets we own.

All I want to know is how sound is my profile. I have mentioned all the details to my knowledge with complete transparency.

Hi Rahul,

a question for you. i know my case will be different from yours as you mentioned you did sds and i am not but to get an idea.

was the 2nd refusal and finally the approval processed quicker than the 1st refusal?

I'm just trying to figure out if the case officer will get to my file quicker on my 2nd go as they already have my biometric, medical and background check.

Hi,

I believe this totally random and based on your luck.

My 1st and 2nd refusals were pre covid. Both the decisions came within 7-10 days. (Kindly refer to my signature)

My final result (APPROVAL) took 40 days. (During COVID)

I recieved my second refusal on 3rd March 2020

I reapplied third time by making lot of changes as per GCMS notes on 11th March 2021 and recieved PPR on 19th April. (roughly 40 days)

Hi,

The assets can be considered later, but course selection is extremely important and that is where I went wrong during my first & second visa filing. You already have a bachelors in Intl Business & Finance and now again you are going for a business management program. (Visa officer may think that it is monotonous and you have already achieved the benefits of this program during your bachelors)

1 -Does your PGDM College in Canada offer a particular specialisation (Marketing/Finance/HR etc) in final semester or year? If yes, did you mention it in your SOP?

2 - The assets are fine I believe, a CA report could have been included to demonstrate strong family ties and financial stability, but I believe it will work.

All the best. Kindly update me if anything happens.

Cheers.

PGDM is NOT kinda masters...
its valued as much as MBA in India
as PGDM is post graduate diploma in management the course covers most topics. But here in India the teaching system isn't that advanced as in Canada, they still rely in byheart studies of textbooks rather than understanding the concept. and I don't prefer just byhearting textbooks. that's the reason I took up studies in another nation where I can understand the concepts.

VO doesn't really care about it's value in India. They're going to see you already have a Bachelor's and make their decision based on that.
