I applied November 13, 2020.
My application was received on November 20, 2020
I received the AOR February 15
I passed the back ground check April 16
The last update on my application was April 23. I received the link to create an account so that I can keep track of my application process.
Anyone in the same boat as me? There are people who applied after me that are being invited to do their test.
I am very confused as to why mine is taking longer when I have passed all the requirements.
Any help will do.
Thanks

People from 2019 waiting for test for this office. Probably 6more months minimum. Slowest in Canada, thats the truth.

I applied in May 2019 and got the test in June 2021, TWO YEARS FOR THE TEST, this is the trend in Kitchener office,

my advice is don't compare your time line with others in different locations ( in ontario or any other place in Canada )
plan for long waiting time (two years as minimum from application date till oath )
Live your life and don't think alot about the application process, otherwise it will consume your energy

keep in mind that same thing is hapening in other cities in Southern Ontario, London, Windser and Hamilton ,
so it's not only you, alot of people experiencing same case,

Me too. I sent my application in Aug 2020 and background check completed in March 2021. Nothing else completed. Kitchener is very slow. It is going to be 1 year soon :(

Hi Hawat,
What do you mean by status Registry?
It is not something shown on ecas or the online tracker. It is shown in GCMS note or you can ask CIC agent by phone. After your application is mailed from
Sydney to the local office, it’s status starts with Registry, which means it’s waiting for an officer to start working on the application. After they start working on the application most likely it moves to Test-Ready status.

That is such a long time of a wait! Are they under staff or what? I don't think I can wait 2 years that's long. I wish I would have done this in Alberta. Their processing is faster

How often do they hold oath ceremonies these days? Once a month, once two months, twice a month? I know it depends on office to office but any educated guesses?

I called CIC and I was told that my application is test-ready and still have not received anything yet. It's so frustrating
