This feels like such a long time to not get AIP. Did you call them? Did they update your file after you submitted the extra hours?
Yes the last time i called. The agent told me they are doing my employment verification check.
Am just worried about the exclusion order and the minister's planned intervention in my pending refugee claim. Still hoping for the best

For the employment in the frontline, is there a certification course that is mandatory? Also, for those who have received the AIP, what is the name of your occupation and how did your employment letter from your employer look like? Because I work in the Pharma but was very involved with COVID 19 patient testing and patient care for hospitalized and ambulatory patients during the pandemic. Someone kindly clarify me. I left the job for a better paying one last month, but I already had almost 2500 hours in. My employer confirmed all these in an employment verification letter, i also gave my 2019 and 2020 T4.

I think they are more concerned about the hours then the certification

You said you have a pending claim. That means your Refugee claim hasnt be heard yet. Correct?
If that is the case, i dont think you need to be worried because your claim has not been determined.
The requirements says You’re not eligible under this process if your refugee claim was:

Determined to be ineligible to be referred to the Immigration and Refugee Board withdrawn or abandoned

Determined to be manifestly unfounded or with no credible basis

Determined to be excluded under Article 1F of the Refugee Convention
cessated or vacated.

https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/refugees/healthcare-workers-permanent-residence/eligibility.html

They have used the word DETERMINED which means: having made a firm decision and being resolved not to change it.

So i dont think they will use that against you since you have not been DETERMINED to be excluded. Unless

@gntsomeonu @Blac Kelly.. and
Other memebers can correct me if am wrong.

I agree. No matter the circumstances, your refugee claim has not been heard and no decision has been made. It should not affect this pathway.

4th March. Went in process 26th March.
Mine went in process march 10th
AOR February 22nd.
Still no AIP
I know of someone whose application after AOR went into processing March 18th,got AIP April 22nd.

Two other fellow did their medicals since Feb and still not COPR yet while some who did medical in April got COPR already.

Is kind of crazy, you would think they follow timeline, but they dont.
I just feel the officers incharge have different rules they follow.

Good day everyone, wishing us all a week of good news, I just want to ask if anyone has experienced or knows anyone who is in this situation, it's been 5weeks since I got my AIP and am yet to get a mail for my Medical, I have called like 4times, they keep saying they have not sent it yet, I tried getting an appointment with out the email, but the approved Physicians in my city said I have to bring along the mail from IRCC. Then I noticed in my AIP letter, my file has been transferred to Toronto office. Any one waited this long for Medical? Thanks.
