What is "soon" ?
1 month? I would apply for the extension. Once you get your PR approved the other permits are "revoked"

Besides that, I would wait for the AOR and see how the processing times are going.

Worst case scneario you get the extension and the next week you get you PR. You just wasted the extension fee
It is ending in September. I think i will apply it because there is no confirmed processing times and the last thing I want is to be stuck in limbo for no reason.

i am not sure if you can process two at once.
since you applied for the PR one then the extend pgwp program might just wait in the queue while the PR is processing if the pr is refused then maybe they start working on the pgwp.
I read somewhere if you apply to two different programs they will process the first one that you are applying to.
Need to check the IRCC website to make sure.

Thanks for the reply, if I apply it and they put in queue after the PR and if by chance the PR is not done by September, I would be on applied status since I apply for the extention until I get the PR or the extention?

Thanks

Your PGWP extension, if you meet all the requirements would be processed in 10-15 days or more.

I don't think IRCC 'connects' the PGWP extension and PR. I got my work permit extension letter 'after' the CoPR. Go ahead and apply for extension to be in status.

Hey , if there is no R10 check , on what basis they will issue an AOR?...any reply is greaty apprecitaed
We don't know yet, but according to the guide:

Acknowledgment of receipt – When your application is received you will be sent an email that:
  • notifies you of this fact and provides you with your IRCC application number
  • sets out some basic instructions for contact with the IRCC office processing your file
  • gives you a brief outline of future processing steps
Our dedicated intake portal does not automatically link your application to your online account. We therefore highly recommend you link your application to your online account when you receive your application number to:
  • get the most up-to-date case status information
  • get online updates for your application
  • change your Sign-In Partner or switch to a GCKey

If this is true, everyone will get an AOR, however, if you're missing any eligibility requirement proof, you might get an AOR and a rejection email within the same day (for example). If you missed any document, send a webform ASAP to update your application and screenshot it, if your application gets refused before the webform reaches IRCC, you'll have enough evidence to re-open your application.
