Just like right now - what’s ur highest qualification for which want to claim points. This really makes sense ,but I’m not sure if ircc would do such a thing as WES Currently doesn’t indicate type of degree awarded.

There's no distinction between inland and outland, FSW is FSW. Prospective immigrants are redirected to inland routes through CEC, PNP and alike. If FSW is to be streamlined, it'll be so altogether, without a distinction between inland and outland.

Currently, the best bet to follow inland routes is probably through Canadian education. It costs one about CAD50k - 100k and is pretty much a guaranteed way to obtaining a PR and some good Canadian credentials.

But how streamlined will be EE for outland applicants who never been in Canada

we'll wait and see. as said, nobody here can have any sort of information about these things. when you think or say any specific group of people will have more/less advantage, it's only a speculation, nothing more. over the past months we've seen many speculators here turning out wrong. maximize your score and wait. if you're too impatient or anxious for that, save money and try to get admitted to a Canadian school and get Canadian education.

my guess (and pretty much everybody else's) is there'll be general draws between sept - dec this year, and also july - sept if Canada can get access to more vaccines. If there are no general draws this year then I'd guess FSW would see fundamental changes in 2022. I get the impression that the CEC&PNP route appeals more to the govt now so the rules of the game may change in 2022. Either way, the Canadian education route has gotten stronger than ever for sure.

It's for non EE streams only which are paper based, no impact on EE streams.

I think IRCC is distinguishing FSW-I from FSW-O at least for issuing COPR's, there are some updates in Aug 2020 AOR thread that FSW-I folks started receiving COPR only after acknowledging they are in Canada.

LOL, as a former OINP applicant I find hilarious how this is basically Express Entry 2.0 but with wage distinction and 22 months of processing times. Having +12 months of work experience in a NOC A or B, I can't see how anyone would choose to apply for this instead of CEC.

This stream is specifically for people with job offers in NOC C or D, or those with a degree from Ontario (regardless of work exp). It is very distinct from CEC.

OINP has many streams, if you work in a NOC C or D it's a good way to get PR, but if you have skilled work experience (aka qualify for the Foreign worker or International student stream) and a job offer I can't see why someone would choose longer processing times over EE.

Also, applying for a nomination is $1500-$2000 and then there's another $~1450 fee when you apply for permanent residence.

But read the eligibility. This is for people with an NOC C or D job offer. Work experience is not a requirement. So this is in addition to those existing streams in the absence of work experience. The foreign worker and international student streams are temporary ones for this year. This new stream looks to be a permanent addition. It's not about choosing one stream over the other. The eligibility requirements are different.

Doesn't that additional fee apply to all PNPs anyway? You want to paint this stream as being pointless, but it's just an additional stream for Ontario. I don't know what you're trying to bring up.

Edit: Now I see. Foreign worker and international student seem to be permanently added to this new EOI program as well. There seem to be 5 different streams mentioned in that link. You were referring to the first two and i was referring to the last three haha. But again, the work experience does not have to be Canadian. So this is still separate from CEC. The difference here is that this still gives you a path to PR in the absence of FSW draws.

Are they going to scrap the FSW draw?, as they haven't taken out one since Dec'20. That was the only way I and my wife could have immigrated to Canada. I am not able to find out or understand what is going on with FSW program.

There are many streams, but I'm specifically talking about the foreign worker stream and the international student stream, as of right now those streams require a job in a NOC 0, A or B. Those two have been there forever, I applied last year.

The job offered must be in a skilled occupation at Skill Type 0 or Skill Levels A or B of National Occupation Classification (NOC).
