thank you soo much!!,
1.)Just remembered, If I apply for PR, and also the extension, If my existing pr expires, will I still be able to work without issues?* assuming my extension WP is still being processed.
2.) I had an accident and was off for 6 weeks last year, and then had to go for quarantine for another 2 weeks later that year. Should I ask HR to mention the reason for the gaps if they don't mention it? or can I just add a separate letter explaining the gaps?
1) yes, you’ll be on implied status while waiting for a decision on your wp extension.

2) it would be ideal if your employer is willing to explain the gaps in your reference letter. If not, then just add an LOE on top of your reference letter to provide context and that even with those gaps, you still meet the one year minimum Canadian work experience.

Good Morning!! and thanks!!

2.) if HR is willing to explain the gaps in employment, should she be counting 1 year of employment with additional days that i have to make up? my 1 year should be completed at the 1st of June, but because of the gaps, it should be Ausgust 1st.

so including the additional days, my 1 year should be august 1st?

Yes, if your reference letter is dated AFTER August 1, that should cover it.

Hi, My Canadian experince started in april 2020 and i went to India from Feb23 to March 21 . That vacation was unpaid. I got ITA on april 1st to apply for PR. Now i am confused if i am eligible or i have to decline ITA get one month of more experience and then agin apply for express entry. My CRS score is 434 that is not really ground breaking. I fear of declining ITA because I don’t know what will be the next draws. Thank you

Hi,you don't need decline the ITA.Although the 28 days of unpaid leave is not considered experience, but you can make up the 28 days of experience before the submission deadline.(Apr 1st received ITA, July 1st is the last day of submit your application.)Also you need a new Employment Letter for cover the 28 days work experience.

@NOC98

Hi, in my employment term, I have been been promoted on my 11th month. Do I have to include the promotion in my employment letter/ experience letter as well? I was on leave of absence for 6 weeks, do include that in my letter as well?

I hope to apply on the 6th of May.

Yes on promotion. On leave of absence, if it’s not paid, then it won’t be counted under work experience and should be mentioned.

How to calculate work experience?Very easy.Total at least 52 weeks, up to 30 hours every week, no more than 30 hours actual calculation,and paid leave is also counted.Then you know when you match the CEC.Good luck!

So i need to divide 1560 hours by 24 hours =65 hours ?

Are you sure about this as cic doesn’t have that much elaboration on their website. It shows only 15 hours example
