Hi everyone!
Please give me an advice on my situation. Please help!!

Im currently in the process of getting PR through express entry. I got ita, aor, submitted application and just waiting now.

The problem is that i am out of status and in 90 day period since my iec work permit expired. I have applied for restoration of status as visitor but i havnt heard back yet. Now i am wondering if this will affect my express entry application if my restoration is not done in time. Does anyone have any idea on this? Super panic mode:'(

I am also wondering about the duration of visitor status. I wrote down that i will be in canada for 6 months on the restoration application, because i thought that would be enough time to get my pr approved. Now i am thinking that may not be enough time. Does anyone know if ircc gives the visitor status as it is written on the application?

start with express entry. Need ECAs and language tests. You want a score of over 68 to be eligible and a CRS score of at least 468 to have an invitation to immigrate.

Hey! I am applying for PR under CEC stream. I have been living in Canada since I was 16 years old (for almost 5 years now). After filling in the details post ITA I got the document list but their is no slot for PCC. Not sure why? Please help!

Did you submit PCC since you mentioned you are living in Canada since you are 16 years old? My daughter is also 16 years old when she lived here in Canada and start gathering supporting documents for PR application. Does she still needs to apply PCC? you mentioned it did not include in your document checklist when you applied for PR.

No I didn't submit any PCC with my PR application and it was approved in Nov 2020. If they want Canadian PCC they will request it later in the processing but I was never asked for it.

Hi Experts,

I have a query. I am working on a Closed Work Permit, also known as ICT, for Infosys in Canada (had travelled from India to Canada last year). I received my ITA 2 weeks back. My query is, what will be my answer to the below question while completing my application form?

8) Do you have a valid job offer supported by a Labour Market Impact Assessment (if needed)?

Will I answer this as YES or NO? Your help with this is highly appreciated.

Hi guys. I’d appreciate any help accorded. So I want to apply for an Express Entry. I have a Bsc in IT and I’m currently working at an NGO firm where the most IT related work I do is the odd user support here and there. I’ve seen most NOCs in the IT fields require computer programming experience which I don’t have currently.
How do I go about this? Please help.

Will you please specify your exact position at work ?
I'm not sure about the NOC's related to IT but so far what I have gone through I can tell you some NOC's even though it requires High school / Diploma / University degree, It is not mandatory that employment requirements are met for the work experience to be counted. Since many people work in a field which does not link to the studies they pursued.

I have updated my profile on the 26th of April, but the latest update on my profile is dated '24th of April'.

Yes it is normal. back in February 2021 there were huge delays reaching more than 12-20 days to be submitted to the pool and to be a candidate in pool. Chill bruh

Luckily I am in the pool.
I made some changes to the name of institution/college....because I had filled in my university name only.

so the lastest update is yet to be updated in the 'LATEST UPDATE'.

But the IRCC website said that they will undergo routine maintenance on the 27th
so I am waiting for that..

Another question,

I have not changed my NOC even once.

But I have made some small surgical corrections in my express entry profile..i think 7-8 times since my submission.

I hope that doesn't negatively impacts my chances to score an ITA, which already looks very dim..ha ha

doesn't matter whatever changes you are bringing to it, only requirement is there should be no discrepancies and misinterpretations when the VO is assessing your file.
