Most of the OCT AOR , FSW - O candidates have reached 6 month mark. Wondering is same trajectory continues all of us will get in to position where medical will get expired and there will be a need redoing the medical. Any thoughts ... ?
Worried about the same thing, don't really wanna spend more money without any return. Isn't it unfair that the applicant has to bear the brunt of the situation. If anything, IRCC should at least make it clear as to when they're planning to start processing fsw-o applications again so that we could manage expectations. Just keeping us in limbo...

I think I saw some post on the group that they are processing application May end June first week (AOR) irrespective to category (FSW / CEC) but I am not able to find evidence on same in my immigration tracker or any other Facebook group. Absolutely no news of anyone with FSW category is getting PPR / COPR.

Please let me know if your observation any FSW applications getting process ?

Just spoke to IRCC - I'm CEC inland (AOR October 27) and my current status is medical passed, criminality passed, eligibility recommended pass, and security not started. She did set the expectation that COVID delays could mean there is a few extra months to go and that some applications pass all stages and experience quite a wait for the final decision, but I'm just glad that I've hit recommended passed. Almost there!

I applied in Oct. 30th, CEC inland as well. I guess we are all in the same boat. I'm guessing beginning of June we should have PPR's coming out. Waiting game is not fun. I can't move on with my life to jobs I'd like to apply, but need my COPR number...

In progress applications aside, do you guys not think that this restriction on post 18 March 20 COPR holders is long in the tooth now? It’s starting to make less sense by the day because cases/variants are already on the rise despite such strict restrictions. And expired COPRs will only increase IRCC’s burden later.

Even if the people in this forum agree or disagree it hardly matters as its not in our hands. We could just wait and follow what IRCC has to say or update us with.

Just got an e-mail from IRCC. It's a reply for my web inquiry concerning the visa office my application is currently processed at.

"CE CSC Do Not Reply / Ne Pas Repondre CSC EC (IRCC)
Good day,
Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
We verified the information on file and can confirm that your application is currently at the Case Processing Centre in Ottawa, Ontario, for processing.
Rest assured that they will contact you as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is required.
We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry."

Does anyone know anything useful about the Ottawa Case Processing Centre? What stage may my application undergo there?

Here's the LINK where I found this:
CPC in Ottawa
The case processing centre office in Ottawa (CPC-O) processes:

  • visitor visa (temporary resident visa) applications from within Canada for applicants with valid status (students or temporary foreign workers only).
  • permanent resident visa applications from the United States and Canada, after they have been received and deemed complete by CPC-M or CIO-S.
Hm. I don't understand how it could be related to me, since I'm a FSW-O applicant: not from the US or Canada.

Mine is also at Ottawa and eligibility was recommended passed at CIO-S. I’m not from the US or Canada so it’s just a case of workload distribution maybe

Hi guys, I just got off the phone with IRCC agent. I am quite upset as I learned my eligibility is review required. Is this bad? I ordered gmcs notes last week. I really hope it will be okay. But to be honest, I am sooooo worried now.
