Hi everyone,

My profile:

Category: CEC Inland

AOR: 6th August 2020
Medical: Passed 25th Sept 2020
Biometrics: 13th Nov 2020
VO: Forgot to ask! Probably Ottawa

Got a ghost update on March 12 and then on March 14. Total 2 ghost updates.
Called IRCC today, they said my eligibility and background check are passed but the file is still open and in progress.

Does this mean the application will be approved? If so, how long does it take to get the CoPR?

TIA
Hello everyone. Got my PR approval today. Thank you everyone and good luck to those who are waiting, you will get it eventually.

Ohh. I see! I noticed that GCMS is printed on the left bottom of the IMM 1017E form. Thanks for this info @caipsnotes
I spoke to MedTest Centre yesterday and they said they can't do the test until May and that they will confirm with CIC if they can go ahead with the test. Awaiting their reply. Will keep you posted. Thanks.
Thanks @caipsnotes . Gave our second medical exam. The Medical Centre got a reply from CIC saying that since the current ones will expire in June we needed to do a reexam again and the Med Centre got a nod from them to go ahead with the test. Submitted out form 1017Es. The Med Centre said they will upload the reports directly to CIC.

Meanwhile Should I upload a webform with the med reports we got from the Centre ?

Great. It's not necessary here but you can submit the information sheet to IRCC via the web-form

Hi all,

I have been reading all of your posts for couple of months now while I waited for my PR to be decided. There have been some ups and downs, with the application causing me anxiety, tension headaches and other stuff while I overthink the waiting process. Looking back I think to myself- how silly was i? haha

So here are the details:

Category: CEC Inland

AOR: 9th August 2020
Medical: Passed 30 September 2020
Biometrics: Exempt (Had biometrics done on a different passport linked to other Canada applications)
Approved: 26 March 2021 (deadline was 9th February 2021)

I have noticed couple of ghost updates when logging into CIC websites but no changes on the main profile page. I logged in today to have a check and there was a update notice but no new messages generated so I click on the application and it said that I got approved!!!

I need to wait for the docs to be generated to see what the next steps are.

I want to wish all of you who are waiting, good luck!!! You will get it soon- Canada needs US!!!!

Hi everyone.

I did receive the approval yesterday. My AOR was 6th August 2020. Can anyone tell me what to do after we get CoPR? I am an inland applicant. I have heard that we don't require to do flag-poling anymore.

TIA.
