Got response to my we form,my card has been mailed to me on March 8, finally!))
Did you also get the update on your online account? I think the email normally comes around 9ish in the morning stating that there's an update.

Does pr card arrive in your mailbox or by courier? I will possibly need to leave country before it arrives and want to make sure my friend can just pick it up from the mailbox and send it to me to another country?

By mail but I read that sometimes they send it to the nearest ircc office to be collected in person.

Hi all! Posting for the first time. I sent my paperwork for a PR Renewal Card in June 2020, they started processing my application in September 2020 and I have heard nothing since. This is my timeline:
Permanent Resident Card
  1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on June 8, 2020.
  2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on September 21, 2020.
  3. We started processing your application on September 21, 2020.
I have contacted them monthly using the webform and I always get the same answer - that it's still in progress and that due to COVID files are delayed, but I see nobody on here with my timeline. Does anybody know if there is a number to call to speak with someone directly? Should I send a new application in? I am so frustrated. My card expired in December.

I applied in November and my decision was made on Feb 1st week. Still waiting.

It is way out of norm. It must be very frustrating for you. See if you can contact your local MP’s office to follow it up. Sending another application is going to take another 3 months at least unless its urgent.

I once read up that there is a little known law/rule that prohibits government to basically sit on your application without any conclusion for a length of time.
For example, since you applied in June 2020, you’re already nearing the time frame to apply for citizenship in June 2021. But you probably can’t apply until PR application is resolved. In this scenario you could use this rule and they would be forced to respond fairly quickly.
The only thing is I can’t remember the name of the rule (will try to see if I can search o bc google). But I’m sure any immigration lawyer will know about it.

I'm on the same boat. Applied in June 2020 and so far no answer. It's still as "Submitted". I send webforms every week. Same response about delays

Mine were received by Vancouver ircc office on March 8, 2021. Same as you, no change in GCkey.
Since, it was a week after yours, I will be following your updates.
