Currently AOR have been issued to some 2019 and a select few from early 2020. Some had received xep early this year only.
Next step - wait and maybe to soothe anxiety create a thread here with heading 'All people in similar situation, update here'
All the best!
Hi @Immstu .

Did you know any one from early 2020 get his AOR ? i can't see any one here or in FB groups ?

Still waiting on confirmations from other applicants. So far no other updates on AORs for 2020 applicants.
Yep. It was only two people who shared there. There maybe few others represented through lawyers/immigration consultants but all in all a very grim picture. It has suddenly gone very quiet again. Seems new hires at IRCC are only entrusted with issuing XEP.

Congrats! It really seems things are moving, for inlands at least.
I read somewhere that they are not prioritizing outlands much because the job market is very bad at the moment. Bringing in new people might result in the government having to support those people financially if they cannot find a descent job soon. Despite being in MTL, it has been very hard for me to find a job. Many companies were not hiring me because I didn't have my PR and they didn't want to get into the trouble of helping me get a work permit. Finally, I have my PR, so I hope I can land a job soon. Covid-19 has messed up many industries.
