I got a email from them saying that my application was sent to Manila.

I didn't get a similar email. Did they request that you give your biometrics after that email?

I noticed some patterns in when IRCC notifies you:
- Exactly 1 year between pre-arrival letter and medical request
- Got the work permit renewed, last time, exactly the day before it expired
- Got the work permit renewed the first 2 times exactly after the expected waiting time
It may be a coincidence or it may be that they set their deadlines somehow.

Congrats! I hope this is true! I received pre-arrival letter 12 March 2020.

I need your suggestions please. I am planning to go to my country for 1 month and during that time if i get medical request from IRCC, can i give it in my home country at an authorised clinic? Will it be considered as an outland application since i will be gone for a month only? Will it delay my application?

What do you need new csq for? Once submitted for federal, you don't need it anywhere.

I got a confirmation email saying they received my PR application around March, 2020 (last year). Is it normal that it still hasn’t been processed? I haven’t heard anything from them and I assume it’s because of the pandemic but it worries me still. Thank you for helping!

Perfectly normal.
Yes, Pandemic has specifically targeted QSWP applications. Rest of Canada is still better.

Currently AOR have been issued to some 2019 and a select few from early 2020. Some had received xep early this year only.
