UPDATE: We were asked to submit additional documentation (husbands mandatory military history) back on Jan 13th. We submitted the documents electronically around Jan 15th. Today, Feb 19th, we finally got conformation of receipt for the documents. Thought I would share for others who may have received the same request and were curious about timelines.

Thank you so much for sharing.
Where can I start our agitation from. March 10 applicants.
No OWP still. Called IRCC on four different occasions but we always receive the same answer that it’s in process.

Received AIP and SA on Jan 27th.
Same day was a request to complete and submit a Military service/Government service form. Submitted Jan 28th.
No update since then.

Patiently waiting but..... Frustrating

March 27 applicant here, received CoPR today. Yesterday we just received SA and AIP, so kind of surprised. According to the letter, I only need to mail new passport photos and a copy of CoPR letter to local IRCC office for issuing PR card, and it says the CoPR letter can also act as a valid PR document for a year.

I noticed today that my wife (PA)'s status on ECAS was updated to "decision made". Does this mean that a CoPR letter is imminent, or does the decision made status stem from the AIP that we just received (yesterday)?

Hi. .
I have applied for the OWP for my wife back in June 2020 through GCkey . she is out of status from Aug 2020 . But Still we have not got any update on OWP and even on the inland Spousal application.
Can i please know why and how you resubmitted the OWP ?
Thank you.
any advice will be much appriciated.
Just saw this post.

If you applied in June, I think you should be getting your OWP approved sometime around now (going by the spreadsheets), assuming that there are no issues with your application and they don't return it. It looks like June applicants are just getting theirs.

The IRCC had returned my wife's OWP application in late September because insufficient fees were paid. They included a note with the application stating what was wrong and how to correct it. So we had to pay the correct fees and send the application to the Edmonton office, per their instructions.

Hence why we are March inland applicants, but just got OWP approval this week instead of in Oct or so. It was frustrating to have the OWP returned and lose 4 months of potential work for my wife, but nothing you can do other than move forward.

In your case, if you just haven't heard back yet, I'd recommend waiting just a bit longer rather than trying to resubmit anything. It will just end up costing you more $$ and may delay them due to confusion if they receive double applications.

My wife just received CoPR this morning, wohoo! (we are March 4th applicants).

The approval and document number etc, shows on GCKey, however she hasn't received an email yet. On GCKey, there is a letter titled "Other" under messages, however when we click to open it, it says that the page cannot load. Anyone else have this issue?

Side note is that we noticed that her biometrics expiry used to be 10 years (2030), but now it shows the expiry as May 2021. Anyone know why this is? She got her OWP and TRP approved just a few days ago too, if that's relevant.
