Is the AOR just the email to the sponsor acknowledging the receipt and providing an application number? If so then we just got it

This is unreal. Congrats. Aor in less then two months. Im going to take a guess here. Is the applicant from India?

Yeah, I noticed that Dec ones were getting AOR's and was waiting for mine. Got the email this morning but not sure the timeline now. If getting the early AOR puts my wife's application at an advantage. I may be wrong totally but I think they have a set number of applications to approve each year, so for this year they put a new process to start afresh to be in sync with those limits - while they work to finish earlier pending applications. That's how they did before Express Entry was introduced.
Never would have thought. Amazing. My wife is from China and I can just imagine the run around coming up. They really need to explain themself NOW how they open these packages. People from April still waiting AOR, system is pathetic for initial aor. I can accept after aor variance but this garbage taking place now is not acceptable for April, May, June 2020 apps.
You got your AOR right? Hopefully should be faster now. Depends on the country in question too and what's going on there right now I guess. I had my ex roomie's wife's application stuck for months because India was under a lockdown. He got it a good 4-5 months later than expected.
Again, I understand after initial aor it can be extremely different speeds and that is fine. But this taking place now with many and I mean many December and January apps is unreal when 2020 Aprils are waiting. They claim covid from March to end of year. Then said covid.is at its worse, well if so they seem to be pumping out aor fast. Best part is they have no explanation for it.
