I think your medical were sent for review. If this is the case you will get either an extension or a request for a new medical exam. It is usually a good sign and it means that your application is moving forward.

My application is the same except for I am FSW Inland and AOR March 9th.
My went back to: You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes. on December 16th. How long has yours been like that for?
*I called IRCC and they said my medicals had been sent for review by an officer on the 16th of December. No updates since then.

I disagree. Your medical would have expired and hence status would have changed automatically. It doesn’t guarantee it was sent for review by an officer. This is based on personal experience and others experiences in this forum

Yes, I think you are right, that would have happened if the medicals expired.
However I assumed that they did not expire yet, considering the AOR. In my opinion if they were done less than 1 year ago they are not expired yet and a change in the "Review of medical results" would mean that they were sent for review.

The status doesn't seem to be an automatic update IMO. Expiry may have been a driver but the date medical status changed, for what I've seen, had all been quite inconsistent and varies by up to a month or more and some never even get it until way after

Guys. My meds have expired on Jan 20, 2021 and my wife’s has expired last year June. But still nothing from ircc. Anyone in the same situation ?
