I had a ghost update on my profile, my PR application current status showed up as "Application/profile updated" this morning. I'm almost 12 months through since my AOR, do you think this is potentially moving towards an approval of my application?
Damn, it looks like it's because my medical just hit 12 months. Does this mean I'll need to get another one? I've remained in Canada the entire time

I talked about this with IRCC agent - he mentioned that it depends on case processing analyst - they will evaluate your expired medical and if they do not see any risks - they can just extend your medicals for PR. So in short - if analyst has a bad day - you will need to get new medical :S

I'm under 30 years of age and pretty healthy so hopefully they say it's not a risk and carry on... if I get asked to do another medical I'm going to be furious
