PR Card (New/Renewal) Processing Timeline 2020

Following is the Status of my PR Renewal application,

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on October 29, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on January 6, 2021.
3. We started processing your application on January 6, 2021.

The Decision was Made on January 6th for my Application,
As other members have mentioned, it takes 3-4 weeks before the PR card gets sent by mail.
So am still waiting!

Permanent Resident Card

3. We started processing your application on January 18, 2021

So am still waiting!

Use to be between 2 to 3 days to move from step 3 to mailing out the card prior Christmas. Guess the new lockdown has extended that timeline further.

3. We started processing your application on December 21, 2020.
4. Your Permanent Resident card was sent by mail on January 20, 2021.

Hi anyone knows how to contact local Calgary office for pr card pick. They have sent my card there. Pls help.

According to what we see in this forum and my own experience, about 55-60 days after the date they receive your application, you can expect to receive the AOR. The processing time which can be checked on the website is 92 days at this moment and is updated weekly, every Tuesday. Needless to say, this processing time is not a fixed time for different applications. For instance, in my case, it's almost been 81-82 days since they received my application and my card is not even mailed and the application has been stuck at "decision made" stage since 14 days ago, due to the recent Covid-19 lockdown, I assume.

After you receive your AOR (usually after 2 days you receive the AOR Email), hopefully your application will be entered in the system, and you can check the status of your application via this link:

Yes, that's correct. $50 for one applicant, and $150 for 3 people.

My Timeline:

1.

1. We received your application for a permanent resident card on January 29, 2020.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s) on February 13, 2020.
3. We started processing your application on February 13, 2020.

My ECAS went into DECISION MADE on Feb 26, 2020, and remained so till date.

Today I logged in to my CIC account, and it shows my application for renewal was APPROVED, and my PR card mailed today, February 5, 2020.

Now waiting to receive the card.

When you hold a lease, that is proof of address. Hotel, AB&B etc. may not be an acceptable address.
While traveling around, did you have a place you called home? A friends or family address where you received correspondence? That could be it. Maybe quite a number within the 5 year period.

Sometimes more, my application has been in started processing since the 16 of December and I know it was sent for printing on the 13th of January (even though not updated on the system) and the system has no update since the 16th of December. No cards yet

Does anyone know how log do they take to respond to the question using web form? My renewal application is in processing since 16-Dec, no update yet.
