Thanks man - appreciate it. According to the notes, my file is ready for visa at the Vancouver office. When I spoke with a very nice agent back in November, she mentioned everything was passed and that I should wait for the email. Appears to be admin delay in sending confirmation emails. Good luck!
Hello, do you mind sharing if Vancouver is showing as the primary office or the secondary office in your notes?
My status is also all stages passed back in Nov and the agent told me Vancouver was assigned as my secondary office a few days ago. Wanna know if that indicates my file has been transferred to local VO for the correspondence letter...
Thank you!

Look for the Officer notes at the end of your GCMS notes. It should look something like **OFFICER REVIEW**. As for my case, I called them on Monday after I got a ghost update last week and I was told I passed all the stages, but I did not ask about the visa office. So, I called them again on Tuesday only to be told my application was approved on the same day and that they are working on my COPR paperwork. I was also told it's been handled by the IRCC Etobicoke office now after being transferred from CPC Ottawa. It makes perfect sense as local visa offices issue COPRs. There are people who see this final decision on the portal but wait for up to 7-10 days before they a COPR email. Maybe, they will ask us to use the portal so we can get our PR cards faster.

Either way, I am relieved the process is over. I wouldn't mind if I get my COPR letter 7-10 days later as long as my application stays approved. LOL.

Same here.. spoke to an agent today told me everything is passed and my file is now in Calgary from Sydney VO.. it was quite unexpected as i have called them last week and only got passed eligibility. So I assume our local VO will be the one to send us the golden email. hope they'll send it before Christmas or before this year ends.

Hi

Considering those eligible for bio refund are due it, I wouldn't read into it any more than that.

There is no magic crystal ball on any of this (wish there was lol). Trying to interpret every GU or update is tiring and impossible to determine.

On the positive end, the fact 'stuff' is happening has to be a good sign.

It's a good sign. I think they have to manually initiate the refund. so someone looked at your application I guess.

On the CIC website, it says they'll refund the biometric fee once the application is finalized. I'm not sure if that's the case because some people received a refund but are still waiting. I got my refund last month, and when I called CiC yesterday, they said my application is still in process

Hard to say. We were BIO exempted October 20th, AOR June 18th, and been approved December 3th. But no refund yet.

What I see in general, I would not rely too much on these refunds, GU etc. It could be a good sign, but it can just drag you in false expectation for the short term and you have just full head of thinking when it comes and time flies to fast after that
