How are you guys able to think about purchasing a house? Don't you need to put down a substantial down payment of around 15-20% before you can get a mortgage?

I got the same message as yours last week and COPR came in yesterday. I think your application is transferred to local VO so they can issue COPR. Good luck mate! All the pending applications are slowly proceeded to the final step.
I hope this message could bring good news for us soon!! Hoping it's not just a coincidence..

ou can claim the foreigner property tax after getting PR.
i don't think so you have to discuss housing and mortgage issues on this forum
My bad for starting this topic but for most (if not all) this is will be next step after getting CoPR as Rents are crazy here and its out sheer frustration i went into that topic.

Lets pls continue discussing CoPR and AOR :D

If you have other valid visa (like student or work permit), you can but make sure to check what are admissible rules (when you return) for temporary residents due COVID.

no notification but a standard message that some applications are complicated and takes longer to process etc. etc.

My application reached 100% on Nov 10th.
