I booked through an agent, the same day I travelled. One can book online also but you need to have the debit/credit card with you, while checking at the Airport. Also check the international usage limit for your debit card, if you are using that. Mine was less than the total amount and it was taking time to upgrade it, so I booked through agent.
If I have not misunderstood your statement but were you trying to pay in foreign currency? Usually we do not need international limit for ticket booking if its in INR.

There is a daily transaction limit in Indian Debit/Credit cards even if they are used for international purpose. Eventually the amount will be debited in INR. If a person is travelling with family then amount for flight could easily reach beyond INR 2L, therefore, you might end up going above your daily transaction limit unless you have upgraded your card.

Thanks for the reply.

what documents you did attach?
I had shared 14 days quarantine plan, proof of funds, and a resignation letter from my previous company.

I had also taken a chance and booked tickets to travel to Canada on August 22, 2020. I had to cancel that because I didn't get a response back from IRCC. I had shared that canceled Air Tickets, Airbnb reservation.

Thank you. Yes after previous experience of a denial to board, we were bit tense. But once we were given a green signal by Air Canada, everything was smooth.
Hi,
On Air Canada website there is no explicit mention of COPR holders can travel , especially expired.
Did you check on this part part with Air Canada or with anyone else.

He travelled via Air Canada and is in Canada now what else is required as a proof? Not each and every information is provided on the site as it takes time to update the same.

You can travel via Air Canada or Air India if you have an AL and new CoPR details updated on your CIC account. On that part if you are travelling date is one month ahead then Air India is more reliable than Air Canada as chances of it getting cancelled is pretty low.

I had this query as I had called their call center a couple of days ago with the same query and they repeated the same details as is mentioned on the site.
May be their call center may also take some time to get updated.

@ Canada_Pr4u ---- Heartiest Congratulations.

Yeah even i had some general transit visa related query while I booked my flight when my CoPR was valid :/. They openly said "Sir we are here to book tickets and getting all valid paper work and research is your duty and not ours." So dont expect much from them as they are booking agents and read from the site.
