Hi All,

I received PPR yesterday. AOR 9 Jan, but landed in Canada in July on BCPNP bridging work permit.

Can anyone confirm if I still have to send my passport to Ottawa CPC even if I am already in Canada? Or should I only send photocopies of my passport?

Furthermore, has anyone in Canada used CoPR to apply for financing, or must I wait for actual PR cards, I know it can take a while to get CoPR processed now since you cannot go to the border post anymore?

Looks like good news coming soon for us. Many applicants got PPR emails yesterday as per the tracker, with mostly Sydney as their visa office.

Yes indeed it is good news. Most of us will have their medicals expired soon. What about other processing office? mine is UK? I believe we are next to go. I am PNP AOR 31st Jan, GCMS all ok and Ready for Visa.

AOR Jan 31st, FSW-O. VO is Ottawa. I received this response to a web form yesterday:
  • The background verifications have not been initiated.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification has not been initiated.
Previously on July 31st I received this response:
  • The eligibility is currently valid.
  • The criminal background verification has not been initiated.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
And on May 28th:
  • The background verifications are currently valid.
  • The security background verification has not been initiated.
  • The criminal background verification has not been initiated.
I am a bit confused about the discrepancies and wondering why everything is still "not started" so far in. I did give biometrics back in February. I already ordered GCMS notes last week but don't have them yet. I guess I will see what the notes say.

Due date is generally the date on or before which they will look at your application. But I guess many times it ends up getting changed and nothing much happens and a new due date is given.

does anybody else have the issue where they open their Application on the Portal and it says 502 Bad Gateway. I'm getting this error after I log in and click on "Check full application status".

Had the same issue sometime back. Clear cache memory and try to open in incognito mode. It worked for me.

How and where did you send your passport
Kindly share procedure here.
The PPR email isn't giving much instructions.
