In your case just get one PCC based on your permanent address in Multan.

I had a similar case as yours. You only need another PCC if permanent address changes on your NIC (for example women when they marry usually have 2 PCCs, one from their address pre-marriage and one after).
Thanks Smash for your guideline, one more thing please suggest if you can, can you suggest what can be the estimated time to wait for work permit once clc immigration ask for PCC. I applied in January 2020 but than pandemic happen and now they ask PCC.

Hmmm, situation is not clear. Is this PCC for work permit or for PR? Please elaborate and then I can offer an opinion.

Smash it is PCC for work permit

So, are you currently based in Canada and trying to get a work permit? Or applying from outside? Times may vary depending on your location.

Currently people based in Canada have a quicker turn around time compared to those outside.

I am in Pakistan at this time

I am in Pakistan at this time

My wife applied for open work permit as spouse of a student permit holder (when i first came to canada), they didn't require a PCC from her so the approval was pretty quick.

But from what i understand the approvals are usually fairly quick after a later request for PCC. I have seen cases vary between as quick as a week to up to months (in normal times). In pandemic times maybe stretch that by a factor of 2.

Hello. Please can anyone help me with this. So in the past ten years my husband has had three different addresses in three different cities: Quetta, Islamabad and Karachi. His ID card mentions his permanent address in Quetta and temporary address in Lahore (his parents live there and he lived there for 5 months). For the past 10 years I've lived in Karachi and Islamabad. My permanent address on my ID card is of Quetta and temporary address is of Karachi. Now we got our PCC made for the time period in Karachi. But the Islamabad police is saying they can't give us a PCC since the Islamabad address isn't mentioned in our ID cards. Even though the Sindh police issued us a certificate when my husband's ID card doesn't mention a Karachi address. So now we are very confused by all this. I'll appreciate any clarity on the matter please.

Keep ur address history in line with ur available pcc and aubmit it

But we lived in Islamabad for 1 and a half years. I can't just say I didn't.

So if you lived in a hotel for 3 days will you mention your hotel address?

Just use your permanent address in the profile. If there is any FIR against you it shows up with your NIC number and in the police station of your permanent address. So all that really matters is the permanent address.

He is right, just keep your address history in line with your available PCC and submit it.

So in the address history where it states mention all addresses where you have lived for more than 6 months after 18 years of age I should not my stay in Islamabad for a year and a half ?

No, just use your permanent addresses, that's it, and furnish the PCCs for that.

I was studying in Lahore for 2 years and also mentioned that in my education, but only gave my permanent address in Karachi. Worked out perfectly fine for myself (and also for some other folks that I know of).

Okay but the problem is that the PCC I got from Sindh Police states specific dates on which I stayed in a particular address in Karachi. That is their format. So should I ask them to change those dates to include the time I was in Islamabad as well? In that case the PCC will read that I have been staying in this address in Karachi from this date to this. Will that be okay when in reality I wasn't staying on that address during that time. I just don't want this to cause a problem later on. I am sorry if I sound annoying with all these questions. I appreciate you helping.
