Hi People,

Is there anyone in the group who has received call from Service Canada agent for “Biometrics” appointment ????can you share what was your app submitted date??
I’m one of the parents in Canada awaiting for phone call to do biometric. If you like to know the timelines of other inland applicants who are also awaiting pls follow this tracker: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GSNBhzTJpURznhFGKUjvWfqtvbSktSsczs1f8TrcrrE/edit#gid=0

Most of these applicants on the tracker are under the Canadian Experience Class. Some of them with AOR later than ours already received some call from Service Centre. I guess with the minority of us under the Family Class is not at priority. So we just have to be patient and wait for the Golden Phone Call!

Hope that help to answer to your question.

Guys need urgent help please.
I am filling IMM 5562 (11-2019) form
I received a request letter asking for this form to be filled by parents.
The form ask for travels for you, spouse or dependent childrens, since only my dad and mom is the case I guess I have to put N/A for the dependents.
My question is in thr request letter they asked my mom to provide IMM 5562 (11-2019) form and they also asked my dad to provide IMM 5562 (11-2019)
How shall I proceed, is it one form or I have to do it twice??

Thanks
Form IMM 5562 has to be filled by the principal applicant and there are spaces to fill the travel details for dependent (in this case your mom or dad who is the dependent) in the same one. Only one form will do.

FRUSTRATING : My mom landed on March 4th 2020 and after that I have called CIC agents and spoke with them at least 5 times and send at least 5 webform in regards to her first PR card and they always says " PR card is in process" and it is delayed because of COVID-19 but yesterday I got a letter stating that photo is not according to their spec's and resend it again. What ??????? After 6-7 months only they looked into this ? My mom is eagerly waiting to go back to her daughter in California and everyday waiting for the mail to see her PR card has arrived or not !!!

Govt. is waiting my/our tax money on incompetent workers :)
FYI: We had send the photo as per the specs in all aspects. This is not the first time , I'm dealing with CIC/IRCC. I have done our PR application, citizenship, my mom's PGP application by myself & with all your help & support.
Have some patience: It must have happened due to COVID situation. Send them the as per the spec. They may send you the card soon.

Thank you @laxsun so in my case, my dad is the main applicant. Thanks for clarifying that I need one form.

Due to covid PR card processing was put on hold since PR card is only really needed if you are travelling which is not advised. It is just one of many things that have been delayed due to covid. If you want to place blame blame the photographer who took the photo.

They probably have a visitors visa and got it approved before biometrics were mandatory.
We are stuck at DM2 since March, just around the lockdown stage but no correspondence since then. Sounds like some applicants who got the Decision Made after us have made further progress. Is it worth contacting CIC web forms? Do they actually check individual cases to see if there's any holdbacks or will they just say we are within the 24 month processing window so its all good? If Decision Made, does that mean parents won't have to undergo medicals again? It will be 1 full year since their medicals in November and it would suck having to do all that again. Sponsored applicants are in India (New Delhi area) and app is being processed at the Missisuaga office.
No point since no stamping is currently available in India. Their application can’t move forward.

good day,

just wondering if anyone is on the same situation as us? or if we need to contact CIC?

" Medical results has been received " since February and no updates yet. ( Manila office )

Thank you.
No need. Processing continues. If you want I would consider ordering GCMS notes.

Oh really? I thought I saw some progress in the tracker on India applications. I'm assuming the next step is them sending email to submit passports? But if they are not stamping passports in ND yet, guess it makes sense parents haven't received note for passport submission.
