Good Day,

I got the following email last evening, as a reply to my re-submission of IMM5768. When they mention the documents are forwarded to 'responsible office for consideration' means that they have sent the documents to corresponding Visa Office (which will be New Delhi Visa Office) for further processing or to an Immigration Officer providing sponsorship approval in Canada?

********************************************************

Good day,

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

We are pleased to confirm reception of the document(s).

We have forwarded them to the responsible office for their consideration.

Furthermore, we verified the information you provided and can confirm that the application is still in process.

Due to the ongoing situation related to the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), some IRCC offices are currently operating with reduced or critical staff only.

We are working on processing applications as quickly as possible; however, processing times are affected and any disruption caused by COVID-19 is not reflected accurately on our website. We will make all the necessary efforts to finalize the application as soon as possible.

Rest assured that you will be informed as soon as a decision is reached or if additional information is needed.

Guys need urgent help please.
I am filling IMM 5562 (11-2019) form
I received a request letter asking for this form to be filled by parents.
The form ask for travels for you, spouse or dependent childrens, since only my dad and mom is the case I guess I have to put N/A for the dependents.
My question is in thr request letter they asked my mom to provide IMM 5562 (11-2019) form and they also asked my dad to provide IMM 5562 (11-2019)
How shall I proceed, is it one form or I have to do it twice??

Thanks

LANDED..........
21-11-2014
FRUSTRATING : My mom landed on March 4th 2020 and after that I have called CIC agents and spoke with them at least 5 times and send at least 5 webform in regards to her first PR card and they always says " PR card is in process" and it is delayed because of COVID-19 but yesterday I got a letter stating that photo is not according to their spec's and resend it again. What ??????? After 6-7 months only they looked into this ? My mom is eagerly waiting to go back to her daughter in California and everyday waiting for the mail to see her PR card has arrived or not !!!

Govt. is waiting my/our tax money on incompetent workers :)
FYI: We had send the photo as per the specs in all aspects. This is not the first time , I'm dealing with CIC/IRCC. I have done our PR application, citizenship, my mom's PGP application by myself & with all your help & support.

I wonder if anyone can share your knowledge, If you receive a confirmation that the application has been received with a case number and everything, later it changed to "in process", does this at least mean that all needed documents submitted and no missing docs? Thanks.

as per new update << if your parent biometrics previously submitted within the last 10 years >> you will get Sponsorship Approval letter and PR file will assign to local VO. your Local VO or CPC-M will not request biometrics

check in Flochart and skip Biometric stage. you can check your previous expiry biomatric date in myCIC

CIC will request biomartic in case your parents never submitted Bio within last 10 years.
Thanks. Yes my parents have a valid Bio I am waiting for sponsor approval since February.

We are stuck at DM2 since March, just around the lockdown stage but no correspondence since then. Sounds like some applicants who got the Decision Made after us have made further progress. Is it worth contacting CIC web forms? Do they actually check individual cases to see if there's any holdbacks or will they just say we are within the 24 month processing window so its all good? If Decision Made, does that mean parents won't have to undergo medicals again? It will be 1 full year since their medicals in November and it would suck having to do all that again. Sponsored applicants are in India (New Delhi area) and app is being processed at the Missisuaga office.
Same here, mother is in Delhi, file is processing at CPC-M, no word from the office since Feb.

Agents who attend to calls are not the decision makers. They are only able to advise on the procedures. Specifically, they are unable to advise whether a photograph meets specifications. They can just say that photograph has been received.

It is extremely unfair to say that "Govt. is wasting my/our tax money on incompetent workers".

No - all it means is that the relevant officer has started reviewing the application.

Hi all,

wondering if anyone else is on the same situation.

I received invitation to sponsor my parents on june 19, 2019 and submitted all the documents before June 28, 2019. Haven't heard back anything until now.
