once biometrics are completed, they are valid for 10 years. so why are they asking you to do it?

I am september 2019 applicant they asked me to do biometric on September 2020 I completed it. I was wondering how near is the end
People at the vac were telling me 2 weeks and yiull get a call to bring your passport stamped
Why did it take them over a year to request biometrics for you ? And did you ask you for the 3 additional pieces of information as well?
New police clearance certificate? And IMM5669?
Did you not pay for your biometrics when you submitted the application? That’s why now they are asking you? Because they requested for it after a year. Insh’Allah our cases are completed soon and our significant others get the PR

Sent to LVO - December 9 2019

Been sitting silent since then, any idea or educated guess on how much longer we'd have to wait?

Sorry i wish i could say something but look at my timeline.....just posted i'm January 2019 applicant.....
I did contact my MP office. They contacted the ircc and told me the exact same things I already know, when I pushed for a more direct answer they said the ircc is not providing proccessing times etc etc. You know the usual gibberish.
its true IRCC is not providing anything to any category cases....I know few people other than spousal cases at other visa offices too....IRCC is like dead quite....its really scary.....I'm so worried and scared
I feel you. I just came back from a 45 day trip to Pakistan two days ago. and received AOR2 in december 2019 an only today i received a letter from IRCC London for
1. new police clearance
2. updated IMM5669 / BACKGROUND DECLARATION
3. Communication proof.
does anyone know why they are asking for updated imm5669e form? I submitted it back in may when i applied.
but they asked for updated version
Exactly.....I had to quit my job and spent whole year as i got stuck there due to COVID and now i'm back 2 months ago and we both are just getting into argument and worried......i'm becoming so mad all the time..he needs me and get upset....
