When I check the progress of my application it finally says processing background check. It also changed to decision made, but I have not received a letter yet. I think there is hope they are processing them. I am from the USA but moved as a visitor to Canada a month ago then reported my new address. I wonder if being inland has something to do with it. Anyways Goodluck everyone this COVID stuff really through a wrench in everything.

I got virtually identical response just some words change for location of file...very weird they use the same sentences around the world.....Perhaps they use a software program to send out responses based on file information available.....

24-01-2019
Hello everyone, I’m new here! I’m also an August 2019 applicant (actually my husband is) and I’m the sponsor. IRCC received our application August 2nd, 2019 in Sydney,NS and started processing in October so I hope I’m in the right forum.
So far my husband has completed biometrics and medical. The last update we received was medical received mid February 2020.
Does anyone know if “medical received” means medical passed? What can we expect our next steps to be? Also at what point in the process does the file gets sent to another VO? Thanks!
Yes it meAns medicals passed
