Hello,

I am currently living in the USA. My PR card has arrived to my cousin's house in Toronto Canada.

Can i ask him to mail the PR card to me? Is it illegal?

Will there be a problem?

No problem. Many people had done this in the past.

Better to use a courier as opposed to standard mail, or at least be able to ensure can track delivery end to end ,your choice

@vasanth777 Not trying to scare you but our experience in this matter was completely different from most people on this forum. Our PR cards were received by our friend in Canada who shipped them to us (in the US) via FedEx. At the border, the package was stopped by the customs and we were told that "the contents are not allowed to be couriered across international borders" - the only contents in the package were the PR cards. At that point, the customs has the authority to destory the package, but we requested them to send the package back to the sender.
