What i don't understand is, if a very few of them are working on paper based applications, what others are doing.. I see no study permit or work permit application are moving either, Citizenship is not moving too. What they are prioritizing only EE. Either all of them are working on EE or most of them are getting paid without working for Covid -19? Come on. If a application is already entered in their system, They need a computer, two monitors and VPN connection to work.. what a nonsense... We work from home everyday.. It is been 5 months now..
Covid is nice excuse for them to not work and sydney office is reputed for long delays in terms of paper application before covid as well. Forget 2020 my friend and plan for 2021. Paper applicants are sons of lesser God.
Besides you get generic emails and mostly rude agents at call center. The agents at call center will try their best to not help you.

Agree.

“Your paper application will take LONGER processing time” will not be a strong excuse since they are scanned into system.

Another thing i don't understand is why they prioritize EE over PNP,..
We pay the same fee,
Most of PNP applicants have a job offer, already settled in Canada for years.
There are both skilled an semi-skilled workers in both EE and PNP paper.

I still have 5 more moths to complete 19 months, no MR, no progress after Dec, 2019. How many of ours already completed 19 months and about to complete 19th months?
We need to be patient that is all we can say or do might be at the end of this month we get to hear anything so please stay calm

We should create a petition and sign. At least they do something to change it in future., otherwise this won't change.. Either they close this PNP paper based system or make it efficient. I don't see any reasons why PNP paper based applications are left behind in the processing time. if i would agree if pay less money than EE.

If you have a job offer, you should be in Canada on a work permit.. what is your visa office. you should ask your local office. For inland applicants, local office is Canada.
I aaplied in workpermit last year they have no response since now. I think they combined with pr application. So outlander workpermit is not issuing for our full family.

Please stop saying "you are atleast inlander and all". We inland applicants are suffering as much as you guys outlanders are. We also have future plans which depends on PR just like you outlanders.

I have noticed that you have said that a lot in your post, So STOP saying that again and again and STOP making a big difference between inlands and outlands. We all are waiting for same thing and that is PR. It does not make more difference waiting for PR staying in Canada or outside Canada.

and you said that we inlanders can call IRCC and all, dude do you really think that is making any difference in processing time?

What's the rush people? Be thankful that we are all eligible to apply for PR, not everyone has the privilege. Some people dream on coming to Canada but they are not qualified, so be thankful instead and have patience. Our time will come.

All of PR applicants include you achieved the eligibility by themselves, why they thanks to what they complain?
personally I don't wanna complain to the IRCC in this time, because I don't wanna extra workload to them to answer the complaint.
but this is democratic country, so everybody has a right to tell their opinion.
if nobody complain about the immigration process, how IRCC know they need to improve their system?

I visit this forum with a hope of finding new updates and meaningful insights. But that is obviously not happening.
For those who are using this forum for venting their frustrations should create a new forum.

Keep this forum objective.
What you expect them to do when they did not get any update for a year?

Should most of us just shut up since there was little update for paper application for the past five months?
