Hi, do we need to open an account in USD to transfer the money for GIC from pakistan to Canada? my bank has refused me to do so because i have a PKR account. please help

And remember banks will make mistakes while transferring your money as this money GIC thing is new for them so it cause your time and money so make your you correct everything from your side and ask them to be careful as well.

I think Nova Scotia Bank gives you GIC within 14 days,i got mine in 8 days.
