My wife and i get married on 8 th dec 2019 and she come back to canada on 7th feb 2020 . Before marriage she lost her job and receving E.I from government and now she is trying to get job but due to pandemic she is shortlisted and pending so on the basis of E.I can she apply my sponsorship letter .Are the government accepting letters right now . What are the financial documents and financial status we require to indicate she can sponsor her husband
And while filling the form is she need to tick on employed in canada or unemployed in section 5 if she is receiving E.i

She can submit the app while on EI. She needs to show that you can support yourselves in Canada without welfare.

EI isn't employment, so she is obviously unemployed.

So how much fund does i need to show in that case and is the letter of explanation to be sent by my wife living and explaining the funds shall be brought by husband

There is no minimum amount. It's fine to show proof of your savings.

So husband and his mother can also show the saving living in india explaining them to fund by themselves and after reaching canada apply for job
