Last week it was not working.Means agents were not available. But yesterday they were.U listen to the automated machine patiently.U need to press 8 when she asks and then she will give option to speak to an agent press 0 .After pressing 0 u will be told approx waiting time. Some times after pressing 0 they say we are not able to transver ur call to an agent. So u need to try again and again.
How you are calling them? from where?

Ok I will ask simple question. What do you think will India allow international flights between 4th May - 8th May? Given that current lockdown ends on 3rd May 2020.
nope. even if the lockdown is eased, they wont just open air travel. it'll be gradual so they can keep track of folks coming in and out of the country. i wouldn't bet any money on being able to fly during the dates you mentioned.

Yeah. I think the same. It also depends on situation in other countries. I think people need to adapt themselves to live with this virus without being impacted. Maybe travel will only be possible in controlled fashion with some new norms that everyone need to follow while boarding a flight and staying in airport to catch next flight. Let's see how things come up.

Hi everyone
I received my COPR and my passport was stamped and i was bound to travel on 10th April 2020 but could not travel due to COVID19 cancellations. Now my stamped passport will be expired on 15 th Nov 2020 and as per 6 months rule, i have to travel before 15th of May 2020 but as you all know as per the present situation all the flights has been cancelled until 16th May 2020. Just want to know if i renewed my passport will there be any issues as the passport no. on COPR will be different and also the old passport will have the visa stamp.
Totally confused as i am getting mixed responses. Do i have to raise a webform and go through the whole passport submission process? OR i can directly carry both the passports and show the relation?
Please help...

There is no 6 month rule in Canada.

Hi Everyone,
COPR expires August 8, 2020. Should I still raise a webform or should I hold on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Already Air India is not booking any international flights till 31 May.
And I think that lockdown after 3rd May won't be lifted just like that. Specially in cities/district with high number of cases the lockdown could very well go up to June.

Your copr expires August 8. Take a chill pill. This thread was started for those whose copr expires soon or already expired. Your post is a slap to the face of those who quit their jobs , sold their cars, stopped their lives in preparation for their new lives and then got stuck with expired or soon to be expired documents. August is 4 months away. Chill, I beg you

While I understand how fortunate we are that the expiry date is still some time away, we too had sold our home and left our jobs because we were planning to travel late March, not to mention a lost job opportunity in Canada, and now like everyone else are trying to cope the best we can. My post was not meant to be a slap in the face of anyone but was just curious if this is something that should be done. So you take a chill pill with your overreaction to my question, especially since you have no idea what we are going through or what we have been through. Stay safe.

Hesitated in writing this but this thread in fact supports all of those who were planning to travel until COVID restrictions came into play.

Whether their COPR expires imminently or in the months ahead is pretty irrelevant given nobody on this forum has any idea about anyone elses plans where they have sold up, resigned from jobs and were planning to travel before COVID restrictions came into play.

Sure people are stressed with COPRs about to expire but everyone can have same unfortunate circumstances in common whether expiring now or later once they have closed off their lives in their home country they only have one choice now which is to come to Canada.

So would politely ask that everyone should respect everyone else and maybe not make assumptions about anyone else that posts anything on this forum, the COVID situation affects everyone.

Thank you for posting this. I was actually taken aback with the reaction to my question. I honestly tried to find the answer elsewhere, in regards to whether all people who intended to travel but could not due to travel restrictions had to raise the webform; and was curious if we fell into that category but was hesitant in creating a larger workload unnecessarily given the amount of time we still have on our COPR. In any case, these forums were helpful during our application process and I figured to jump back on here to see if anyone had some insight, my intention was not to insult anyone.

Air India opens Flight bookings for International Travel from 1st June 2020 and Domestic from 4th May 2020.
where did u find this info?Specially about domestic travel. As I saw in the news that cent govt has not yet decided about the domestic airlines whether they will start after 3 May or not so no one should book right now.
