thanks for your reply, I think that means now they will allow applicant to submit the missing documents in 90 days without returning the application, it should be a good news if I my understanding is correct.

What it says if you miss a document they will allow you to send it my email
But if you miss a signature or filling application mistake ( like me , I forgot date of birth ) they will return package after 90 days

Don't get married. Once spouse is here on study permit then you can get married here.

Hi everyone, for a Outland spousal sponsorship, for my wife in Colombia . Will the visa get denied if you don’t include wedding photos or invatations ,we got married in Canada Nov 2018 . But did not have a big wedding was thinking of doing in Colombia but my family from Canada could not attend . And obviously likewise with her family being in Colombia . I have all other supporting documents including a Canadian Marriage Certificate . Thank you

Invitations not a must, but i would include a few wedding pictures atleast those showing important scenes in the event

Don't get married. Once spouse is here on study permit then you can get married here.

I understood. It is better to get married in Canada and do the inland sponsorship while your wife stays with you..

Yes you can apply. Nothing restrict you from applying.

hi dharmesh , I am in the same boat as you, my file was supposed to be delivered on 6th march and it is still saying in transit as of 27 th march. I called Canada post and generated ticket to locate my file and they are unable to locate. I can't call cic now .
2 questions
1. does your canadapost still says in transit ?
2. can I inquire about my file from cic through any other way?

1) yes still Canada post says it is in transit. I raised a ticket number and followed up daily basis to give more pressure on investigation. after 8 days I received a letter from Canada post stating my file has been delivered with more details. I suggest you to confirm with CIC for the same.
2) you can call to CIC and ask to them about file status whether they have received it or not. they will ask some personal information and will update you for receiving status. Please let me know if you need any help for this . Hope it is helpful for you.

no I don’t think so, I think there’s just going to be a delay of a month or two than usual! Got to be positive about this whole situation
