@Aj.nayak We went to a professional photographer as many suggested that photos from CVS, Walgreens etc would be rejected.
You can even search in yelp or google and research about photo studios who has experience in taking photos for Canada visa/passport.
I used the walgreens in my neighbourhood. They used a point and shoot camera, the software has a drop down for Canada - which did a surprisingly good job to align and clean the background etc, and then they cut the photos for me. The photos were also accepted by CIC.

Hello All,
Just a quick question. When sending my passport for stamping, I sent both my old and new passports, tied them with a rubber band and sent it. Will that create a problem? I mean shouldn't I have sent only the new one.
Thanks,
Chan.

Hi,
While creating the shipping label in fedex, phone number is a required field but the address given in the PPR does not have a phone number. Can I use my phone number while creating the shipping label to CPCO.

How should I fill the address field in the ‘To’ shipping label.

Contact name*: CPCO- PR Visa Passports Submission
Address 1*: 365 Laurier Av. West
Address 2: <Blank>

OR

Contact name*: CPCO- PR Visa
Address 1: 365 Laurier Av. West
Address 2: Passports Submission

Making sure that the address is given without any errors as the package goes with the passport. Thanks in advance for your response!

I just created a shipment using fedex manager to send passports to Ottawa. Do we have to sign any commercial invoice (inward/outward)?

Hi All,

Need one help. I have recently got PPR with request for sending passport to Ottawa.
I am Indian, currently residing in US on work visa.
Can i send my passport outside of the country to Ottawa? Also which courier company should i use for sending the return envelope? (UPS, Fedex)
Can someone share their experience?
Last month I mailed via FedEx. You have to create an Fedex account online by yourself though.

All - My wife is currently in the US. She got Passport request and we mailed passport to the Ottawa office on March 17th. We got acknowledgement through FedEx that it was delivered. We are not getting any response from IRCC webform on the status of the passport - did they receive it? are they working on it? how long would it take for them to process and send the passport back.

Has anyone here recently mailed their passport and got a response back or received their passport back from IRCC?

Hello, so the photos from Walgreens were accepted? I got PPR back in March and took the photos there, the store clerk used the software to adjust to Canadian measures, he stamped as well, but the photos were not cut... what’s this the same case for you?

We made sure to ask the clerk at Walgreens to cut the photos after getting them taken. The first set we had, my photos were accepted by CIC but my wife's were not. We went back to Walgreens a 2nd time, and the 2nd set of photos were accepted by CIC. Not sure why she needed to take them again as no reason was given.

The WAG I went to, had cutter only for 2x2 size whereas CIC specifies 2x2 3/4 so decided sending it uncut following couple of posts here, I hope there is no problem with that. Any suggestions ?
